Spider monkeys eat fruit, seeds, and leaves. A spider monkey can grow up to two feet , not including it's tail. They are called spider monkeys because they look like spiders. It likes to hang upside down using it's tail. They are not capable of doing different tasks. Spider monkeys' usual colors are black and brown. The population of spider monkeys is estimated to be 2,000 in isolated pockets. The spider monkeys prefer a diet of 90% fruit and seeds. Spider monkeys also eat young leaves, flowers, aerial roots, sometimes bark, and decaying wood, also honey.
